EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a research-backed therapy that helps people process and heal from trauma, distressing memories, and overwhelming experiences.  Instead of just talking about the past, EMDR works by engaging the brain's natural healing processes, reducing the emotional intensity of painful memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming.  Many clients find it helps them feel calmer, more in control, and more at peace, without needing to reveal every detail of their story.
